Between Times is the project of London-born, Shanghai-based producer and DJ Jack Richardson. His productions are vocal-heavy, warm and ethereal, drawing on UK garage, soul, R&B and drum & bass. Releases include Emanate on Dream Schemes, and Lotus and Over U on his own label, Memoryseeker. Behind the decks he blends soul, R&B, garage and house, with live remixing as part of every set.

Between Times is the project of Jack Richardson, a London-born producer and DJ now based in Shanghai. His productions move across generations of electronic music, soul, R&B and drum & bass, held together by the UK garage he grew up around.
The music is vocal-heavy, warm and ethereal. Listeners will hear the influences, but each track keeps its own character. Releases include Emanate on Dream Schemes, and Lotus and Over U on Memoryseeker, the label he runs.
As a DJ, Jack draws on everything that shaped him: familiar and forgotten tracks across soul, R&B, garage and house, with live remixing built into every set. He plays across Shanghai’s club, bar and rooftop scene, solo and as part of the What The Funk collective.
